As we near the end of 2019, Billboard is looking back on and celebrating all the women who reached No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart this past decade. Whether they were the lead artist, a collaborator, or a featured artist, you'll find all the female hit-makers here. (An asterisk is pop star Katy Perry, who hopped on a remix of Daddy Yankee and Snow's "Con Calma" after the song had already topped the chart.)

Latin music has largely been dominated by men, but with songs like "Tusa" putting women on top again, hopefully more female artists will be reaching the summit of the chart in the next decade.

Colombian superstar Shakira was the first female artist this decade to go No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart in Nov. 2010 with "Loca," featuring Dominican rapper El Cata from her Sale El Sol album.

Former La Quinta Estación singer Natalia Jimenéz carved out a solo career for herself this past decade. She featured on Ricky Martin's "La Mejor de Mi Vida Eres Tú" from his 2011 album Música + Alma + Sexo.

Cuban-American icon Gloria Estefan released her twelfth studio album, Miss Little Havana, in 2011. When she chose "Hotel Nacional" as a single in Jan. 2012, the electro  swing banger opened at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart.

Mexican superstar Paulina Rubio released her tenth studio album, Brava!, in 2011 with the lead single "Me Gustas Tanto." During the time when EDM was one of the top genres, she teamed up with Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez producer RedOne on a track that blended dance and Latin pop music. The club banger climbed to the top of the Hot Latin Songs chart in Feb. 2012. Rubio and Estefan are the only female artists this decade to hit No. 1 without a feature or collaboration. "Me Gustas Tanto" marks Rubio's fifth overall chart-topper in her career on the Hot Latin Songs chart. She returned to her Mexican roots this month on the ranchera-pop kiss-off track "De Qué Sirves."

You should add the "Hot Latin Songs chart" to the title before 20 people report you

The title wouldn't let me add more to it

I don't know what the drama is even about but it's entertaining to read.

I literally don't know who they are. Is this how Ariana stans feel when old gays discuss about Britney and Xtina? :flop:
