dynamite 66,579
Does this mean he will be fired from his job as President? Maybe Mariah Carey can step in over the Christmas period? Like a poem said by a neydy in red

Werewoof 2,487
Impeached... but sadly probably not removed. Either way, it’s a good first step.

Wait does getting impeached not guarantee being removed? Just when I think I'm starting to understand the US political system...
Guest
3 minutes ago, Poker said: What does this mean? (I'm not familiar with the American system.) The house predictably agreed to impeach Trump as its mostly Democrat, but he wont be removed yet because it has to be approved by the senate who are majority republicans. So its probably not going to happen.

A president is impeached before a trial in the senate where it's voted if the president should be removed from office (needing 2/3 majority). It is valid and he is impeached. xoxo Joanne

Was just about to comment this, but I am glad that we are in the first stages of booting him out the door. It honestly just means that the Senate will have a vote (assuming they even have the vote, they could pull some more bullshit). It doesn’t mean much, it’s more symbolic than anything else at this point, since no one expect the Senate to move forward on this.
Zander 14,944
People are celebrating this but it’s like there’s actually nothing really to celebrate until the Senate vote on whether to remove him or not in January. Of course the house which has a democrat majority will all mostly vote for impeachment... it was predictable.
