Fair play. If you're putting something out for the word he has to expect reviews like these, not everyone (and in this case literally everyone) isn't gonna like what you make. Big learning curve for him. He's gon wish 1D gets back together

These pitchfork writers are really inconsistent in their stances. He's more generic than Bieber or carly or Taylor? All of which they consistently kiss ass to? I don't like Liam mind you, I don't care for any of them. But all of it is vague music you hear at a department store, literally, all of it. None of it is exponentially better than the other, yet they make these buzzfeed-y reviews all the time as if their entire staff is comprised of millennials that grew up in stan culture.

To summarize, truly don't respect music journalism. I don't think anyone should at this point. Form your own opinions free of poison from others, only glance at such things for fun or a laugh. Don't put weight in a music review. It's fruitless.

I do practice activitism tyvfm. I participate in marches for teachers on a monthly  basis. I've volunteered for queer donation kitchens.
