Because I'm not sure what the artist does tbh and I'm just too lazy to look it up. I'm not even sure if it's a collab or a project. I just saw the pic and that's it :hor:

Isn't Shakira the queen of latin pop? I mean she's the succesful one, the one with more bops, sold out tours worldwide and can still sell out stadiums in like 20 years into her career + having one of the most streamed albums on Spotify history (El Dorado I think). I don't have a problem with Pau but she's more like a throwback girl, I live in Chile and the last time I heard from her was like 15 years ago when I was 6 or something.

Shakira is successful thanks to her English-language music, unlike Paulina, whose major hits in Latin America and Europe are in Spanish language, thus being the queen of Latin pop.

The fact that you, a fan, don't know about it is kinda more surprising :toofunny:

Thalia has a collab with a Brazilian drag queen or something :giggle: Looks like she's aiming for a different audience/community this time :nails:

She's not even that relevant in Mexico anymore. I think she's more relevant in Spain, but I'm not sure.

Who is more relevant/known in Spain? Paulina or Thalia? In Spain do you know Gloria Trevi and Alejandra Guzmán or another Mexican artist? I'm curious to know :oprah:

Paulina is the only Mexican singer who's popular and relevant in Spain. Es la mexicana mas espanola. Her Spanish accent alone >>>>>>

Inb4 "but No me acuerdo was a hit" argument :smh:

Well I grew up on her music, I can recognize most of her hits from 2000 to 2006 and then Mi Nuevo Vicio, but she's seen as this crazy lady with no talent and literally everyone makes fun of her :air:

I'd never heard a song by Thalía in my life, not even her name :air: she's doing pretty good rn though, I guess. Thalía was huge in the 90s, maybe that's why I didn't know her, according to my mom at least

From Gloria I knew Todos Me Miran and that's about it :air: a shame because her music is really good

And I'd never heard from Alejandra either :air: a shame too, she delivers classic after classic

Paulina 2000 is one of the best latin pop albums and that's a fact, but that's about all I can say for Pau :air:
