Hallmark backtracks on backtrack over same-sex marriage ad

The Hallmark Channel, reversing what it called a “wrong decision” said on Sunday it would reinstate commercials featuring same-sex couples it pulled following a complaint from a conservative group.

It's so funny seeing companies bounce back and forth on their decisions in hopes of keeping the most costumers around. Really goes to show that the corporate world's only allegiance is to what's most profitable.

This 100%. They care nothing about what is right just what will make them the most money.

it should be nice to know though that apparently it's more profitable to target LGBT and their supporters rather than conservative christians.    That in itself tells you the world is changing, albeit slowly.

Yeah absolutely. It's the best time in human history to be gay. Not fully equal yet but I don't fear walking down the street where I live. It's shocking what queer people only 50 years ago lived through. 

Now corperations are trying to sell things to us haha. Boy the world has changed.

Well some place are better than others. I'm kinda glad that I live where I live, which is much better than many places in Asia.

Still, we have queer people on TV shows all the time, but they are mostly present as Drag queens who lust over literally any guys for cheap laughs. Straight guys still make joke about you "having gay" as if it's an incurable, highly infective disease, and no one bat an eye.
