I would like to say thank you for all of the support and love for my album Technology and my brand new single, you've seriously made my whole Christmas!

This took me almost a week to make, I had to figure out how to make text look like it's drawing itself in my editor :laughga:

But it's done! And it's 4K! Here you go

If it doesn't give the 4K option right away, it's still trying to render itself out :laughga:

"When the  lake has ice and the fire's toasty nice" I liked that line a lot.  So freakin' warm and cozy! This is probably one of your best songs vocal production-wise. The harmonies all work and  the main vocals are so neat. Loved it.

Thank you so much! Literally everyone I've showed it to said they loved it, even my girlfriend, who loves all my songs anyway :laughga:, felt like she was just whisked away into a Winter Wonderland when she heard the demo of it back in like September :laughga:

You've got such a sweet voice. :)

I could totally see you doing rock pop.

Just curious - (I'm kinda octave-deaf, not tone-deaf, I can identify and match pitches, just the octave isn't always clear to me :selena:

Which octave is this in? The lowest parts of the song like "when the lake" - is that D/E/F2 or 3? It sounds like it's low but resonant notes for you (almost talking like, like low notes for Gaga are).

Also, the harmonies in the bridge and the falsetto at the end :firega:

Thanks! And I would LOVE to do pop rock! :firega:

And I don't know, it's like a mixture of the 3rd and 4th octave, I'm a tenor :laughga:

And for that line "When the lake has ice" is actually a G#3

Oh :poot:

See I'm a baritone/bass and when I sing G#3, it sounds high. It doesn't have the gravely quality your G#3 has. My G#2 on the other hand... Sounds like a bass instrument and trombone combined. :poot:

That's what I had to realize with Jackson Maine songs. He actually has a high voice but he trained specifically for the gruff quality, so it sounds lower than it is. To sing with his gruffness I actually sing an octave below him. "without an alibi" is like a C#2 (originally C#3) :messga: really low even for me.

Funny thing is I also sing all Gaga songs exactly an octave below her. Our ranges are similar, just an octave apart. That's why I think I'm confused about octaves. I've trained myself to hear a note and sing it in the octave below :laughga:

Interesting, I can't even imagine having a voice go so low, that's a pretty special gift :laughga:

Have you ever thought about training yourself to sing in a higher chest voice? I mean obviously you don't have to, but like I trained myself to be able to do whistle notes when I'm only a tenor and it turned out pretty good, I think :laughga:

I can sing as high as F/F#4 in my chest voice depending on the day. I can go at least to D4. I have done G4 too :messga: it was a moment for me.

And my falsetto has some overlap. It goes from B3/C4 to about D5/E5. I've done F5 but rarely.

Well that's their sweet spot probably. I'm sure with training it can get a bit wider.

Anyway, it's how you use it that matters the most. I say that ranges are like d!ck sizes. Everyone's got one. More or less unchanging. Some people have extraordinary ones. Doesn't mean they know how to use it. :ally: Then there's those who have really big ones AND know how to use it :messga: Anyway point is you don't need a really big one to have good se- I mean singing :ally:

It just sounds that way because I'm a tenor :laughga:

Like how on Cher's national anthem when she hits the Bb4 on the word "Brave" it sounds a lot higher than it is because of her voice, but when you play it on a piano it's actually quite low :laughga:
