I don’t want a recreation of the 2008 sound, I feel like we’d be going backwards if that happened, no matter how nostalgic. If you really love and miss that sound, I suggest finding more obscure artists from that time period that made that kind of music. I just recently discovered a man named Sam Sparro who sang a song called “Black and Gold“ which came out in early 2008. Sadly, he was never big in America. 😢 He really deserved it.
