The pic of them hanging out could always be the teams testing the waters to see how much hype there is about them as a screen couple So how much hype is there gurls? Are we here for it? Personally I think it's a good idea, let's keep the ball rolling with ultra-A lister costars only Who else would make a good Mauricio? Even Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, and Will Smith have had flops, but not Leo. It's mostly about the IP, but everything he touches turns to gold and in the age of streaming, when it's way harder to get good box office #s, that is important. Plus, he's a fantastic actor. LilyLark 10,122 Posted November 26, 2019 Share Posted November 26, 2019 Leo would be fantastic, but who knows...he has so many projects lined up according to imdb, he rarely does supporting roles nowadays (even if he was originally signed on to the Gucci pic), etc. Directors often disregard age, so it could really be anyone over 30-35 imo. IMO some interesting choices would be Michael Fassbender, Christian Bale, Matthias Schoenaerts, Louis Garrel (he's doing more English language films, apparently, and will be in Little Women), and Willem Dafoe, Mathieu Amalric, or Russell Crowe if they go "older."
