Sure maybe it is not possible to fead the whole world with Vegetarian/Vegan products. Like the example of antarctica or other places where it’s not possible. But it is in most countrys and we have enough space. Yes it will still pollute but not on that level!

And no you can say what you want, it is not possible that EVERY SINGLE HUMAN eats grassfed meats, it is proven, as a fact!

As I said before, vegans take like 2 clips of a farm not treating the animals correctly and run with it. The whole meat industry isn't bad, nor does it torture the animals. I know the farm I go to treats the animals with care. But if you are so concerned about the animals, what about the animals the get killed by combine harvesters harvesting crops... or do they not matter?

The majority of the world’s grain is fed to livestock.

As for grass-fed, it's just a vague, feel-good word for scamming consumers – right up there with “farm-fresh”, “pure”, and “humane”.

So please, don't passively aggressively question my passion for the well-being of animals.

Also, we discuss all the time how they should be treated etc... but in the end they die, that’s the bigger issue in the end when we talk about moral reasons to become Vegan/Vegetarian...

And if we need meat in the way you think we need it. Why kill animals and not humans? Are animals worth less then us?

This is really sad because it is going to give a bad reputation for vegan diets. I have been vegan for seven years and I would never go back! I am more healthy, I eat more and it costs less than an omni diet so I can afford eating 3-4 meals a day.

(and it’s also sad because a child died)

At this point I'm only thinking about the fact that crucial decision-making in journalism is once again proofed to be relevant in the context of understanding the message the article is sending: the TITLE of the article is clearly a choice based on the heated conversation that it would most likely cause – like we see in this stupid thread. The main point of the article was the fact that a baby died because of poor nourishment, not because the parents were vegan. I have my own personal doubts about the vegan diet but I don't see the point in attacking people like this. The vegan diet in of itself is not bad; when it's not done correctly and according to the personal needs of your own body (human bodies are individuals) it could be harmful. This fight between ideologies is unnecessary. I commented on this thread on the first page and was talking about the article itself: you have to read it properly and understand the text properly before making stupid assumptions. Reading comprehension is important as hell! Some of y'all didn't even bother and it shows. :saladga: Also, understanding what the article WANTS you to believe is as important as the legit message it's sending. This article clearly WANTS you to think that it was the vegan diet ALONE that caused the death of the baby. And y'all who are yelling about how harmful veganism is "objectively" fell right into the trap.

i was born this way, baby

It is terribly sad that gays try to defend eating meat without any reasonable arguments. I am not surprised that there is still so much homophobia in the world, since the defenders of some rights themselves do not respect the rights of others (animals).

But on the other hand this is the world - idiots will remain idiots who do not respect others right to life.
