Paulina Rubio vs. Thalia: Who's your favorite Mexican Queen?

Anyone with a passion for Latin music knows a certain two artists from Mexico named Paulina Rubio and Thalia. Both are the same age, started their careers in similar paths as they were both in the same teen band. Both did movies, soap operas, both have had their hits, flops, ups and downs. Part of their iconic fame goes back to the classic times when they were absolute frienemies. At one point, their rivarly were more entertaining than most Latin soap operas.

By the time Paulina had every person in Latin America sing Mio, ese hombre es mio, Shakira was still trying to find a proper label. And by the time Thalia was crowned the Queen of Soap Operas, JLo was trying to land a role in Hollywood. Yes, you may be aware of that, but it's the true tea here.

Latinos very recognize her classic hits such as Lo Hare Por Ti, Y Yo Sigo Aqui, Si Tu Te Vas, Te Quise Tanto, Dame Otro Tequila, Ni Una Sola Palabra while the world may remember her for Don't Say Goodbye and Boys Will Be Boys, and being a judge on the X Factor next to Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato.

THALIA, also known as the Queen of Soap Operas.

The world recognizes her mainly for her very successful soap operas such as Marimar, Maria la del Barrio, which were watched by over a billion person around the globe. She's had some hits in her career such as Amor a la Mexicana, Piel Morena, No Me Ensenaste, and most recently No Me Acuerdo featuring Natti Natasha.

I have already been accused of racism on this site bc In my top 50 songs it only has "WHITE" artists so idgaf

I know i'm not racist and care about everybody so that's all I need

If you asked me this same question back in 2007/8 I would say Paulina.

She has amazing hits.
