I've just finished the pokedex yesterday with my bf, I don't know what to do anymore, any suggestions? 

 

And I won't shiny hunt, I tried it yesterday and after 20 mins I've lost my nerves

Do a competitive team and hunt G-max ‘mons 

edit: otherwise there’s nothing else to do if you finished the game and post-game already

I finished the game last week and I liked it, because it's Pokemon and I will ALWAYS love Pokemon.

That being said, the game has some problems. I liked the concept of the wild zone, but I wish the whole game would have been like that. I was hoping for a Breath Of The Wild kind of game, where you get a Pokemon and can just wander around a seemingly endless world map. I wouldn't even have minded switching to a different battle system so there is no battle screen anymore. I really loved Pokemon Sun and Moon and the fact that they chose to change some of the traditional elements so it felt like a setback almost. But yeah, I still liked the Galar Region. 

My first real problem was that this time it was very hard for me to create a Pokemon team. Usually I catch 5 Pokeomn + the legendary. And all those pokemon are from the newest generation. Like, I can't understand at all why so many people got so upset about the fact that you can't catch ALL the pokemon. When I play a new game I only catch the new ones. This time however, I have no idea what came over the creative directors, but I found almost all of the new pokemon so ugly that I didn't even want them. Either they were ugly or just so common that I didn't care for them. 

My second problem was the story. It's just like.... nothing happens, but then all of a sudden within the last 5 minutes of the game 29375z3915z39859 things happen at once, but at a point where you don't care anymore and just want to beat the champ. In previous games, you had constant quests that you had to do to get an item, to go further or whatever. You had to beat the evil team midway through the game, you had to help someone find an item or save them from a threat. But this time, you just go from one gym to the other. Which is not bad at all, but then that should have been the focus and this whole gigamax whatever thing that somehow will kill everybody in the end should have either been given more focus or left out. I didn't even know what that legendary was that I was forced to catch. The concept of the story just being about travelling and exploring a new world would have made more sense in an open world game á la BOTW. 

The evil team is the worst EVER. What were they thinking?! It's not even an evil team it's just a bunch of dumb people cheering. Honestly, they should have gotten rid of the team all together since they are completely pointless. The other characters are lame too. That one blond guy with the pink dress... what was his point? Like, why do I care about him? What does he contribute to the story? The punk girl was obviously just used to build a connection to the punk scene of London, but she was barely necessary either. 

My last negative point is that this was DEFINITELY the easiest pokemon game out of all of them. Pokemon games have become easier and easier. that's why I liked what they did in sun&moon, because some of those overpowered pokemon were pretty tough to beat. In S&S, I almost beat almost every battle, including the CHAMP of the region with one attack. Literally, I beat every single one of the Champ's pokemon with one attack and I didn't even grind (I hate grinding) and I never even used dynamax or gigamax (which is the same as mega evolutions by the way). I mean i hate it when games are way too hard, but this one was just like... why would I even care about beating someone when a 3-year old could probably do it. 

All in all, I enjoyed the game, but it's definitely on the lower end of my favourite Pokemon games.

I think Type Null can't be bread

I got the Applin evo and type null (this one I gave back)

Now I need:

Shield exclusives except Corsola, Ludicolo line, Mandibuzz line

Zamazenta and Silvally to trade and back (if yu don't have, do you know someone here who has them?)

-Competitive battling honestly. I recommend finding something against Gyarados and Dragapult since those 2 Pokemon are guaranteed to show up. 

-Complete the Curry Dex tbh. It's best to cook with someone else to get Charizard rankings. 

-Get all Alcremie forms. You get the items needed to evolve them by fighting in the Cafes. There's 3 Cafes in total. I don't know the exact locations but I'm sure they are easy to find. 

-Gmax raids: I swear I spend half of my time hunting for Gmax raids. I'm mainly looking for Gmax Hatterene, Grimmsnarl, and Alcremie but I can never seem to catch one. The fact that they can be shiny too is another plus for me. I hope this helps.

I haven't had a lot of time to play the game, so I've only just recently started progressing again, but..this will definitely be the last Pokemon game I will ever play.

This game feels like it was designed to be more accessible to play for kids 10 years old and under.
