Tinashe - Songs For You // Out 11/21

Songs For You is Tinashe's first full length indie record, after she parted ways with her previous label RCA early this year. 

The album is the sucessor of the poorly received Joyride, 2018, a work that was delayed many times and didn't get the proper support from her label, that was prioritizing other artists over her release. 

The Joyride drama was a major setback on her career and caused her fans to massively suggest she should go indie, a request she heard and is at least in part the reason why she chose to do so. She still had one release schedulled with RCA: "Nashe", from which she released 2 singles in 2018, but the project was eventually scrapped when the contract with the label was finished 

Joyride is in turn the following project to Nightride; a mixtape from 2016, and Aquarius,2018, her debut album and most acclaimed work to date.
