The second rah rah in Bad Romance?

Am I the only one that always sings ba rah ah ah ah instead of rah rah ah ah ah?

I mean with the second rah rah when the bass starts. To me only that specific one sound like she is singing ba rah, rather than  rah rah. I really like it tho.

Is it just me? I know its probably just an effect caused by the music, but I can't unhear it, I always hear it like this. All the others are just rah rah to me.

I hear it like that too, and if you listen to the vocals alone it sounds exactly like that.

I don't think she said 'bah' in the first one, I think they recorded the vocals separately and placed them together. They probably did some editing to the vocals that resulted in it sounding like the /r/ was cut off.

Well yeah, it's just the first half second of the Rah cut off



Top layer is the waveform of the first Rah, where you can hear it as Rah
Bottom layer is the waveform of the second Rah, where some hear it as Bah

If you cut the top layer off at the same point, it sounds exactly like the bottom one, aka Bah

You're not alone. I hear it too. Not sure if it's an effect of the music or if she actually sang it that way . . . Wouldn't put it past her for dramatic effect
