Uhmm. How lavish. Maybe if they just donated the money that were spent to buy those Rolex then it could make a bigger difference? And the people they gifted it to are already rich anyway? Like? Ain’t it kinda hypocritical? :saladga:

I dont think its has to he hypocritical. It was a way of saying thankyou for being part of it?

wealthy ppl have different standards lets not forget that.

but as long as they paid for it themselves and didnt use money from the foundation for it, then i dont see the problem

So tacky. One rolex is worth so much, yet they spend that money on their guests instead of their so called foundation meant to help people in need. I'm pretty sure guests didn't need a watch

Well rich people get so much stuff for free from all sort of luxury brands etc so it would be hypocritical to freak out at this when celebs post on social media: „omg thank you @tesla for my new car love you XOXO gossip girl“ and there is no backlash.

is it unnecessary? Yes

am i surprised? No

I'm sure the amount of money that they spend on the foundation is like 10 times the worth of those Rolex watches lol Gifting a Rolex is just a cute little thank you to the guests. In our standard it'd be like a box of chocolate or a muffin basket. This is really nothing new or shocking. These people always gift their guests things that are unbelievably expensive for us but nothing for them.

I'm sure rolex donated them tbh or gave a massive discount. That's generally how these things work lolol

OT: "a fundraising event to help support young people in a meaningful way." what? :laughga:
