The pipeline has leaked roughly 383,000 gallons of crude oil, impacting an estimated half-acre of wetland, according to state environmental regulators.

The leak has currently been contained.

so sick of fossil fuels...  hopefully instances like this will show that renewables are a safer, longer term investment that will pay more out!

Agreed. But we need to stop consuming it before we kill pipelines

 

that means electric cars

 

Also a lot of oil is still needed for non-energy and burning purposes. 

 

Pipelines still have the best record for carrying it cuz trucks and trains are even worse

 

not sure what the perfect solution is for this
