Bernie Sanders leads in New Hampshire Polls

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders(21%) and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren(18%) are in a close race among likely voters in New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation Democratic presidential primary, according to a new CNN poll conducted by the University of New Hampshire.

Former Vice President Joe Biden stands a shade behind at 15%, and South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg rounds out the field of four who reach double-digits with 10%.

Bernie's new campaign videos really carry strong messaging, people are reacting to policies.

Is this a sign to change, socialism anyone?

Are polls reliable enough!

Discuss.

Honestly I would be very careful with polls at this stage since they either give Bernie fourth, second,  third, first ex aequo or first and a few point ahead...

Pete was also so high then so low and now he seems to be the potential nominee if he keeps rising at this rythme...

Warren with her very progressive placement will have quite a lot to lose with her voters knowing her more and more and seing she was less strongly or constantly progressive than sanders.

Biden  remains quite high and he's often still the leader in many polls so all it takes for him is the end  of warren's momentum and he'll get a good chance to win.

It's really a point of the game when everything can still happen.

Yep

Fight till the end

Polls can make people comfortable too much

But CNN's coverage is really funny they try  to leave out how Bernie is leading not to upset the 1%.

Do they even poll people? I feel like there is no credibility behind polls.

I think it's CNN who edited out 20 seconds of a Bernie sanders answer during a 2016 dems debate...

No wonder why they wouldn't reveal he's leading so even his voters feel like he's not succeed anyway and feel like choosing an other candidate who would have "bigger chances".

Honestly they're globally pretty reliable but you always have a few surprises and opinion gonna keep changing a lot until the actual caucuses so that's why it has to be taken with a grain of salt so far anyway. :)

And they often underestimate Bernie sanders chances a bit I noticed.

I find it absolutely hilarious that when there’s a poll with Bernie leading the following happens:

1. No one cares enough to really post

2. Everyone who does either says it’s too early or dismisses the data.

When Warren is the one leading in a poll, everyone and their mother loses their **** and tells me that supporting Bernie is equal to voting for Trump because he has no chance to win.

Very interesting standards Gagadaily.

Honestly it is too early to not take polls with a grain of salt and I would say it whoever the leader in the polls is. Plent of polls also give biden or warren first and that's also too early.

It happens quite a lot indeed but we're not alone disagreeing with this vision, don't worry. ;)

Bernie is always underestimated in the polls.

I'm pretty set on #TeamWarren but honestly as long as either Warren or Sanders wins, I'm good :selena:

I agree about the polls. In 2016, they weren’t all that accurate in the primary anyway. 💛

But I do think it’s important to speak up and to the hypocritical behavior of others here.

Good news, with all the required skepticism with an early one-state primary poll. I hope he does well.

He’s really turned the media narrative on its head. He’s moving up in the national polling averages while Biden and Warren have lost a decent amount of ground. And, of course, the media has done everything they can to downplay that fact. :madge:

With the newest dire climate change projections that just came out yesterday, it’s so clear that we need him to be president more than ever. No one else has a plan to deal with climate change that is as comprehensive as his and no one will fight as passionately to save the planet as he will.

I’ve said this so many times, but I genuinely cannot understand voting for anyone else. There’s absolutely no reason to vote for someone with a mediocre track record and inadequate policy proposals when we have the most progressive candidate America has seen in a century.

Especially with the current squad endorsement, feels like the tide is turning slowly but surely.

And his latest ads are striking a nerve of people

I want Bernie to succeed, but the media isn't downplaying anything...there's just no story. He's been consistent in polling since May. He's made up some ground...but hasn't broken through to new levels of support yet. Warren had a quick, substantial rise and it's gone down a bit with Biden taking back a lead and buttigieg making modest gains for a second, which is what the media narrative is. Which is...correct. If you are going to complain about media bias until they bend the truth to what you want it to be, that's a problem with me. It really bothers me.
