She probably said this in 2011 when she was the most confident and she was still relatively new to stardom. People grow up and perspectives change. Things get insane and even more out of control when you have to do the same thing for one whole decade. She might have thought it was possible to escape the paparazzi at that time but as a woman who is growing up to value and love her family and privacy more, it's become less possible to do so. From what i read today's complaints are about Gaga's fakeness as a person, bad/rude attitude towards people, etc. Any guesses about tomorrow? It would be more honest if she would say that she is sometimes kind and sometimes not then people wouldn’t feel disappointed after situations like this. She builds up someone she can’t and shouldn’t even live up to. Also the meet and greet is so expensive & it’s also not like it used to be before where you get time with her it’s just a simple hello & maybe 1 minute with her. And after having met her twice: she has bad days on meet and greet nights too and she doesn’t hide that either even if you paid to meet her. Which I‘m not saying is wrong but you can be just as disappointed after having spent a **** load of money on her after a meet & greet. A meet & greet with Gaga is not the solution to be assured to get a good experience with her. It will always depend on her mood that day. Also what I have learned is to be in the moment and not say everything you planned to say and just let it play out. You probably feel when the moment is right or when it isn’t and when it isn’t it’s usually better to let the chance pass by then to force sth and be disappointed after. All they do is complain, attack her, and whine day in and day out. They call for her to fire her best friends, call her fat, call her ugly, etc. It's going to get to the point where she won't be able to interact with us at all for her mental health sake. Expand Gaga is one of the most real celebs in sharing that she's not perfect, that she has problems and often can be overwhelmed. She's never pretended to be this untouchable idol, certainly not for many years. If you can't deduce that she can't always cater to every fan then you're very naive. But she is also someone who says in interviews „I promise to always do my best to wrap my arms around you when I meet you“ so it may come as a surprise if that’s the same person who ignores fans.
