I mean I'm sorry for what happened to her but the world doesn't revolve around her..  People are using the term to reffer to a painful situation. She doesn't own this concept nor she has any right to call other people for using it.

That's some brutal honesty, people won't like it!

Can't count how many times I've used that metaphor or heard somebody use it! It's not to be taken literally and everybody knows that! Or maybe it's the person saying it ...

And if I see Gaga's too nice self say anything about this unless it is standing by what she said I swear ...

The replies to Gaga's tweet are unreal. I know educational systems fail a lot but the amount of people on social media who don't understand the use of a metaphor or realizing that the word 'fame' and 'fortune' are not synonymous is ridiculous.

Shes talking about the trappings of fame not the benefits of her hard work. Money doesn't come to all who reach fame. It also doesn't solve your problems no matter how much you have.

Read the OP :triggered:

She spent four years in prison during which she vehemently proclaimed her innocence. Two convictions were later thrown out, but it wasn’t until 2015 that she was officially acquitted.

Knox was awarded $21,000 in January 2019 after the European Court of Human Rights ruled she had not had a fair trial.

This case was complicated, a lot. A lot of doubts remains on her, doubts supported by facts and proves, instead of the weak proves that sent an other person in prison. But it's right that a lot of mistakes were made by police

People just love to complain just for the sake of complaining.

Next it’ll be Gaga’s statement about music being like open heart surgery...

Her tweet basically reads "ok, you had it hard but I had it worse". She just insterted herself there and it's in a lot of ways discrediting Gaga's pain because she personally had it harder. I don't understand how some of you here approve her. Especially since as fans we also know how fame indirectly led Gaga to being in constant physical pain too. :toofunny:
