The dude literally worked on every song (except one) on the album. So is he disappointed at himself? Did he feel some type of way DURING the process? Or is he just trying to people to buy his book? Keep comparing it to the original film and you'll keep sounding miserable and disappointed. I mean it's become the best selling Disney movie ever. This is very huge for a remake. He was the composer of every new version (Except... you know) If his ending credits song actually became successful and took off I feel like he wouldn't be saying any of this.
