Ok, so I've been using iTunes since day and I don't like change.  I've never paid for streaming - I still buy my music.

However, if I'm forced to use Apple Music in place of iTunes, will I have to sign up for Apple Music streaming etc?  Will the new Apple Music desktop app be free like with iTunes?  Will I still be able to purchase songs individually and full albums on Apple Music, like I do now with iTunes?  I's so confused.

Apple Music is just the name of the app. It's literally just the music portion of iTunes in a separate app. You don't have to stream with their service at all.

I said this would happen like 4 years ago in the charts thread and everyone laughed.

Oh well. It feels good to be right. If you can't accept change just hang up your heels henies. Stop feeling victimized about not being able to purchase music. No one cares.

Does this mean I no longer need a PC to add unreleaseds into my Apple Music? 😋😋

Lawd.  I'm gonna wait awhile before I switch. Let them work out the kinks first. :classy:

what bothers me is that SOME PEOPLE still want to buy music and it makes artists lose money. like sure less and less people do it but everyone should have the option still available for them and artists are earning (less but still) some money from that.

You know that the iTunes Store will continue existing, right?

I downloaded the macOS update and it's not there. I've been searching for it 15minutes

I will always prefer buying (read: owning) music over streaming (read: renting). I'm not sure why the two can't simply coexist.
