Russia & Iran essentially invading it as a coalition, US having been there and bombing the crap out of it, ISIS and other terror groups still having branches in there, Israel illegally annexing parts of it, Turkey invading the North to forcefully resettle millions of Syrian refugees into danger etc..etc..etc..the country is in shambles when it used to be one of the calmer countries in the Middle East region not too long ago. But they're cool with Trump passing the buck to Turkey, removing the US' influence entirely, giving them the US' blessing for an invasion, and releasing literal terrorists out of US captivity? This was the right decision. America has no place in the region. When the US is there all it does is inspire “freedom fighters” who want to get rid of them. Local problems require local solutions. After Turkey gains control of Northern Syria, Iran will have no choice but to play nice. And then finally both Turkey and Iran can discuss giving Kurds autonomy.
