I mean there are so many that I like. Ariana reminds me of a little girl trying to pull off a grown woman's voice. And her enunciation is brutal. Edited to add Jessie J. She can do that power singing and her voice is strong and she sings clearly. freebit 6,240
I feel like she's coming off her peak atm. Though she could keep going as she seems like one of those Rihanna/Britney types that keep chugging along, but IDK. I feel like she's too closely associated with the current moment that everything about her feels like its going to feel dated in the near future if that makes any sense (like the aural equivalent of instagram-style make-up). That song she did with 2 Chainz and now the Charlie’s Angels song have both flopped. She’s really freefalling at this point. Nobody wants to see or hear her voice for a while. I wouldn’t call it like that. maybe her strategy is a hit or a miss, similar to Cardi b she’s popular and she releases many songs, some of them stick with the public and some of them flop and depending on that they promote them

True but Ariana is smart and will follow the trends to keep her in the spotlight tbh... that’s what makes her star power. luna’s advocate

I think she'll always keep herself around, mostly because of her voice. She'll be invited to sing at things and be written about in the press even if she ends up having Mariah-type vocal issues (even then, that's not a dealbreaker because look at adulation of Mariah and Adele). I'm just not sure she'll be able to ride the wave and constantly trend atop the zeitgeist for a longtime like Rihanna for various reasons (she's the type to keep with something that works for her rather than go with the flow IMO). I know she wants to have a similar career to Drake where she can release material constantly and not have people tire of her, but those are all men, and we all know media and people in general hold men to bottom of the barrel standards while expecting women to be perfect. I feel like that's eventually going to weigh on her.
