Reject False Icons 4,773
I hate this clickbait segment like, they never spill something big and end up answering some useless ****, if don’t, they eat it and spit it immediately and James is the only one eating gross food with no effort the only kinda big thing that came out of it was the Katy Perry’s rant about her lovers and that’s not really interesting at all

Her most iconic quotes ever came from some of the most rude and sleazy lowbrow interviews early in her career So I can see why someone like Howard Stern would get great interview material... but I also see why a celeb who is as experienced and tired of the bullsh*t as Gaga would want to avoid doing interviews with people like that I love Stephen Colbert, he is my favorite late night host by far! James Corden's show has some really popular games and segments but he doesn't compare IMO Yup, I agree. I think Stern has crossed the line a few times and pestered her too much about her sex life, though she's gone back a few times, so maybe she doesn't mind too much. I have the sense that she appreciates candor more than artifice, and she does push back at times. I wish though that someone would interview her about things not related to her personal life or celebrity gossip – she's really smart and thoughtful, and I'd love to hear her talk more about topics such as why she admires Rilke so much, what other literary works she enjoys, the nuts and bolts of her writing process (not just "I heard you can write a song in 10 minutes, is that true?"), how she manages to juggle a variety of projects without spreading herself too thin... And if one were to delve into more personal questions, I'd be curious to hear her talk about how she first met Bo and how they became such close friends (their friendship is so beautiful to me), any interesting stories she has from her global travels, any encounters she's had post-fame with people who don't recognize her as Lady Gaga... Most late-night talk show hosts tend to toss out softball questions that were probably given to them by her management team. One thing I do enjoy about the games and segments like "Carpool Karaoke" is that they feel less scripted and you get to see more of the person's instinctual reactions to things. For example, in LG's Carpool Karaoke segment, the part where she drops her earring and slaps herself for "Poker-Facing too hard" is really cute, and her reaction to James bringing up O-Town seems very genuine. I think she'd still be fun on his "spill your guts or fill your guts" segment just to see her reactions to some of the disgusting foods, but I wouldn't expect her to actually spill her guts to James. This. I think he's totally a pig, or at least, that's how he comes across (I have a feeling it's a persona more than anything), but he does know how to probe people and push them to open up. Wasn't it on Stern that she first revealed she'd been sexually assaulted by a music producer? I do think that LG is strong enough to push back when she wants to, and that somehow Stern is intuitive enough to realize what sensitive topics his guests are receptive to discussing and which are fully off-limits. She's also delivered some of her best acoustic performances on his show. She/Her/Hers
