Princess Die deserved to be released! If people got over Judas on Easter Weekend they could have understood the spelling and intention of D-I-E. It is her best song and her voice with just the piano makes it so haunting.

Dope is lyrically genius and is superior to IWBWY.

Her acoustic versions tend to always be superior to studio version.

While she has some of the best dance songs and sounds her ballads are her stronger songs.

The Edge of Glory should have been a lead single

ARTPOP as a whole is overrated on this site. Its amazing but to hate on Joanne while hyping up that album is ridiculous.

The Fame is the best debut album from a pop star ever.

She needs to do an original Jazz album and record it live. I said what I said.

ASIB will always be one of her best pieces of work and I hope she writes more with Bradley and Lukas Nelson.

I actually think it's overrated by many people who act like this song is the second coming of christ but I think it's a good song and it actually has plenty of aspects to like:

The production is not lazy at all to beggin with

It has a "cool" and unique vibe, and a catchy chorus

I mean I get your point but if the song maybe was on TF or AP maybe I'd have liked it more but when it comes to it's parent album that is a masterpiece and literaly all other 16 songs are unique it falls flat.

I kinda agree ,I love it, but it can be painful to listen to

Oh yeah I love the song melodically and lyrically, however the way it was produced turned me off.

Do you hear that? It's poison.

Basically all of this (are you my twin?), but to add to it/elaborate:

Joanne is one of her best and coherent albums. When I listen to it, there are only one or two songs I skip. The only other album about which I can say that is The Fame Monster (which is my favorite album). That said, Joanne doesn't necessarily have my favorite songs (though I love Angel Down and Just Another Day), and the songs I like most are on other albums.

I would rather her release an album with acoustic/jazz & piano versions of her hits than LG6. :stalkga:And aside from the songs she regularly performs at J&P already, I'd like to see her add Dope, Gypsy, Hair, Speechless, and ARTPOP.

Summerboy should've been a single, released during, you guessed it, summer. Such a fun bop. I wish she'd perform it live.

I'd prefer LG6 to be rock/metal rather than dance pop, but whatever it is, I'm okay with her taking her sweet time.

The live version of Hair performed at the piano is so much better than the album version.

Hair is a better anthem of self-acceptance than Born This Way.

Speaking of Born This Way, I know LG is well-intentioned, but I wish she'd update the lyrics to get rid of "oriental," "chola," and "transgender life." Yeah, she was going for rhyme, but she's talented enough to come up with something else. Her best friend and hairdresser are Asian American for crying out loud – why did no one tell her that at least in the U.S., most people of Asian descent aren't fond of being referred to as "oriental"? These lyrics undermine the intent of the song for me.

@LVbuttondown already said it, but just to reiterate: Dope is so much more compelling of a song than I Wanna Be With You, and yes, her "textured" voice is part of it. I Wanna Be With You reminds me too much of the Bud Light commercial "this Bud's for you" or the Barry Manilow song ""This One's for You."

I like Is That Alright? better than Always Remember Us This Way, though both are wonderful songs.

Born This Way album aged badly but Government Hooker and Heavy Metal Lover are 2 of  her best songs ever

I guess people saying they don't like government hooker or heavy metal lover never found themselves being high or drunk in a car on the highway at night, and with these two songs blasting on the radio. These songs are so sensual , heady and mysterious; they still send shiver up my spine after all these years.

-Fashion of His Love is better than Fashion!

-MANiCURE is one of ARTPOP’s top 3 songs (The others being Venus and Gypsy, but those both get plenty of love).

-Joanne is the best of the 3 big ballads on Joanne.

-Both versions of Joanne are equal, one is not better than the other.

-Angel Down Work Tape is better than Angel Down, by a lot.

-The second halfof the Born This Way era was actually a worse time to be a fan among non-fan friends than the ARTPOP era was. People were so sick of her in late 2011, whereas they were simply uninterested in her either way in 2013.

the facts!! Guitar fingerpicking on the album version >>>>>> piano on the single version but "one take" "emotional" album version vocals <<<<<<<<<<< polished vocals on the single version.

--- Million Reasons is kinda boring.

--- Shallow is Lady Gaga's best song (besides  Poker Face and Bad Romance)

--- MANiCURE deserved to be a single even more than Venus.

--- Animal deserved to be on The Fame Monster instead of Teeth

I disagree with all of this

- Million Reasons is great

- Shallow, Poker Face and Bad Romance are excellent, but not in her top 10

- MANiCURE would've flopped, just like Venus

- Animal is a mess, Teeth is a masterpiece
