Madling 1,981 Posted September 23, 2019 Share Posted September 23, 2019 No people have said she is very generous but I'm sure she has grown up a lot when it comes to money and knows how lucky she is when there's so much poverty etc. Plus if you had to hand over the cheques she does to the tax man you'd be careful with money too. Plus paying all her staff and running 2 big properties (and probably others we don't know about) well it ain't cheap. And doesn't Bobby get 15% of everything? But Gaga Has a lot of flashy cars and clothes and stuff, plus 2 multi million dollar homes, so I wouldn't say she is a cheapskate, but I don't doubt that she tries to get a deal whenever she can on stuff. You don't stay rich by spending all your money. I live in an area with a LOT of people who have a LOT of wealth (mainly "new money mainlander" Chinese with very deep pockets). Some of them can be seen at our community pool showering rather than spend their own money on water at their homes. For real. These people simultaneously drive $100k cars while digging through trash to collect recyclables and stealing plants from community parks to replant in their yards so they don't have to pay a gardener. When she first started out she was in debt to her label because they were financing her, but that just means they would have taken a bigger cut of her profits until she "worked it off". None of her tours left her "broke", even when she cancelled dates. She also didn't go broke during ARTPOP, that story about her losing 25 million dollars was the very definition of fake news. I believe she did put her own money into the launch party as well as the GUY video, but certainly that didn;t bankrupt her.
