I love the song but I'm not particularly sad we won't hear it again to be honest. It had a fair share of live performance, more than other songs.

Never been a fan of the song anyway, its sad she might not perform Venus again though, wish it was a single so she can perform it for the rest of her career.

When I said "except for some occasions", I was referring to the televisied performances, which include the ones from Alan Carr and the AMAs.

Yes. It bothers me that one of Gaga's best singles is essentially tainted.

It seems pretty clear that she's distancing herself from the song altogether by refusing to replace it w an alternate version 

This makes me cherish my foil ARTPOP CD even more though
