I am also tired of Pete saying that he is a progressive. Agreeing with Israel’s apartheid state, coming out against free college and Medicare For All, and being “troubled” by Chelsea Manning does not make you a progressive

Joe Biden is the worst person on that stage in regards to policy, outlook, and his only reason for being high in the polls is recognition and romantization of the Obama era and he KNOWS that. The fact that he thinks that it makes him a good candidate or qualified to beat Donald Trump despite his politics being out of touch with many people both in the Democratic party and the large independent and young voting base... well its arrogant, point blank. Anything that hurts him at all, I will support. I dont know if Castro's did, because the DNC and corporate media want him to win (precisely because he'd be a shitty president ) they will excuse every mistake he makes as just "good ol Joe, remember he worked with Obama" Obama didnt even want to pick Joe Biden because he disagreed with his politics immensely, and Biden was a garbage candidate back then who seems to have Not learned any lessons. Even Biden’s wife doesn’t think some of his policies are as good as the other candidates Yikes

thedirtymonster 788
I think Amy Klobuchar had a big night and I was IN THE ROOM. She came out strong, and she really opened her spot in the field. In a government of far-left Democrats, and far-right Republicans, Amy has maintained a centrist stance, and that's lead her to be the most productive minority-party Senator since John McCain in 1994!! She has a record of getting things done, has a record of working across the aisle even during historic polarization, and she has a record of winning in areas that don't usually go blue. She's the one who can bring it to Trump. There are a lot of conservative-leaning republicans that don't want to vote for Trump, but see Socialism as too extreme so they swallow their pride and go with Trump. Amy can give them a reason to vote blue.

This is something that has been going on for too long now no im glad someone finally brought it up on stage. He also wasn’t wrong when he called out Biden for his hypocrisy on taking credit for the good things Obama and he did. But not for the bad things. He also made a great point about how these are the Democratic primaries. They’re supposed to go at each other. Maybe he should’ve been “nicer” about it. But I don’t think he was wrong. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/2306860001 You can think whatever you want, but Castro was wrong when he attacked Biden on healthcare lol. Castro forgot what was said 2 min prior. They’re supposed to go after each other on substance, not petty attacks IMO. That’s why I’m an Democrat and not a Republican. Is this the only attack *some*(again, I say some not all, don't want to paint everyone in a broad brush before anyone quotes) Sanders supporters have left in their toolbox? To continue to cling to false narratives and misrepresentations? He literally has a whole ass policy platform on his website(https://peteforamerica.com/issues/), has released 8 extremely comprehensive plans, literally shouted out his Black Agenda - Douglass plan on that stage yet "empty platitudes, no policy proposals or actual plans". What a laughable statement, seriously. It's called nuance, not everyone gets it. Thankfully he has 400k donors, now definitely more, who understand it and are rooting for him for a more united country, a message he continued to hammer in today's debates and remains the only candidate to consistently do so in every debate. If this is the only thing you can come up with, you'll have to try much, much harder. Also his "billionaire donors" can literally donate as much as everyone else, a maximum of $2800 per the FEC limit and have no say or influence, just like everyone else donating. He also recently raised $750k in a single day from just grassroots donations without any event, debate push or end of quarter deadline. But I guess facts are less important now than conspiracy theories. Does it not hurt to be this willfully ignorant? It's okay to support a candidate but do it without spreading lies and disinformation and forcing false narratives about others. That'd be great. He's going nowhere. He has enough money to sustain his campaign all the way till the end. Stay pressed and deal with it. Lmaooo oh please. You're the one who's obviously pressed that others aren't blind enough as you and that we can see right through him. He never speaks of said plans or gets into specifics. And his supposed "riveting" speeches are more platitudes that don't get into that and that we're all sick of from politicians. You're right, he is going nowhere in the primary, as in he'll remain at his 2-4% in the polls. And also, based on who's donating to him, he's got the MONEY but hasn't got the people. I for one prefer candidates who actually have people behind them and not big money and huge donors 3 hours ago, HorusRa2 said: From a human perspective, this was a very endearing moment for Pete. Amy can give them a reason to vote blue. You cannot forget that the standard bearer of the party must be able to energize the base. The base is to the left of Amy. Let’s not forget that in 2016 we chose a candidate who was more moderate because “electability” and too many democrats stayed home because they didn’t want to vote for either of the two most disliked candidates in our history. Now if we want to talk about electability, we have Bernie who has been under presidential campaign level of scrutiny since 2015. He has received more donations from individual donors than all of the democratic field as well as Donald Trump & also has more donors than anybody in the dem field in the counties that voted for obama twice and then voted for Trump. It’s not even close. Bernie has consistently polled better than Trump in head to heads (by bigger margins than Hillary in 2016. His margin of victory has lowered since then but still beats Trump in almost every poll. We know he has an electoral strength in rural places and the Midwest & has the opposite stance to HRC on the issues that Trump hit her on in order to win. All Trump has on Bernie is “socialism bad” but Bernie has won many elections going back to THE 80s when it was an even worse word than it is today & he’s still managed to win elections. There is not an argument to make that would suggest Amy has the capability to perform better than Bernie by any metric I know to use.

Thankfully a lot of people were listening closely. And are you seriously suggesting that it's possible to hear specific policy stances in debates where there are 10-20 candidates and each is given a minute to answer? Sheesh. Also just because you (and others, including those who have reacted to your post) have deliberately chosen to shut your ears out because you support a certain [insert candidate] doesn't mean that he's speaking platitudes. Again, it's tiring trying to debate with people who don't want to listen at all in the first place. I'm done here. "I was protected by the monks of Azarath, I was raised by my friends. They are my family, this is my home and you are not welcome here."

Two minutes prior, Biden said that under his health-care plan, “every single person who is diagnosed with cancer or any other disease can automatically become part of this plan.” And about ten minutes prior to that, Biden said it more plainly: “Anyone who can’t afford it gets automatically enrolled in the Medicare-type option we have.” Biden had already explained that under his plan anyone could choose to opt into Medicare, and anyone who could not afford it would be automatically enrolled: There are people who automatically get enrolled in his plan. As Biden said, these people “do not have to buy in. He was incorrect that Biden forgot something about his own plan. It was Castro who forgot what Biden said.
