It's the ONLY reason why he's been polling so well. Clearly since his policies, voting record and campaign are absolutely atrocious.

LateToCult 41,828
Wonder if the breakdown of that is similar to the African American bloc where younger voters support Bernie but older voters support Biden. I would assume it is. @Morphine Prince have any links on who the second choice is for Biden’s Latino supporters?

On the bright side most people haven't really begun following the race so name recognition is what really matters at this point for polling. The fall time and beginning of next year though many, many more people will actually start tuning in more and becoming engaged to find someone they like. So that could drastically change the race especially for Biden and taking into account his endless missteps and gaffes as of late.
whocares 2,122
Also, remember that for every election, many latinos here with a green card become US Citizens in order to vote. My sister and I will be one of those.

It could be some minorities but not others. Obama changed the game by nabbing pretty much every demographic to some extent, but I’d hardly say that you need every minority group for the nomination. Now, for the presidency, yes. That rule only applies to Democrats, though, since old white people are still the top voters
