The legends cast them as servants of higher powers and are said to have writing on their heads. When the writing is removed, the creature would be weakened, or even killed in some legends. Regice has the highest base Special Defense stat of all Legendary Pokémon. It also has the highest base Special Defense stat of all Ice-type Pokémon. It is also tied with Regirock for the highest single base stat of any Legendary Pokémon with its 200 Special Defense. Regirock's is its Defense. In the international versions of Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, there is an unobtainable Regice Doll programmed into the game. It was unlockable with the Japan-exclusive Regi-Dolls Decoration set e-Reader card. Regice shares its category with Avalugg. They are both known as the Iceberg Pokémon. Facts about Latios: Origins: Spoiler Latios appears to be a cross between a jet plane and a dragon. It and Latias may also draw inspiration from the philosophy of yin and yang. In addition, they may be based upon the aeons in Gnosticism, being that certain aeons are immaterial beings of concepts existing in pairs of males and females emanated from God and one another; also, their category is "Eon". Latias and Latios are also based on birds, and due to Latias's shared origin with Blaziken, they could be based on junglefowl. Latios shares its category with Latias. They are both known as the Eon Pokémon. Even in hiding, it can detect the locations of others and sense their emotions since it has telepathy. Its intelligence allows it to understand human languages.
