You guys are always jumping on bandwagons. Back then, everyone wanted her to make music with Max Martin because most songs on top were produced by him. Now current songs produced by jack are gaining traction, so you want Gaga to work with him. That's why Gaga will always disappoint you coz you're not adventurous enough to explore different producers. Gaga didn't have one of the most versatile discography in her career by following what everyone else is doing. She is being highly respected by the industry because of this. Those who does not respect her are those who wishes they could do the same and wanna be in her spot.

Well Jack antonoff isn't max martin. Max martin is the go to guy for every pop star that wants a hit. Jack is just someone who made some great stuff with Taylor and Lorde and that's the only reason some of us want him.

Madonna never disliked her, she always praised her. She just expressed disappointment in the fact that Gaga copied Express Yourself (which she did).

First of all he truly detests her and always had some snarky unsolicited insult to make about her. He hasnt said anything in the media for the past few years, but id bet a million nothings changed.

Second, I think his sound is boring af and overrated to hell and beyond. His sound is so washed out and homogenized yet hes the darling of all pretentious music snobs at places like pitchfork and of course, the anthony fantano. which says a lot for me. I think he made Lorde and St. Vincent boriiiingggg afffff, just completely washed them out. Yet somehow, the gays and the snobs just love it. I truly don't get it. Melodrama to me was one of the most boring albums of 2017 but people are so wet for it. I just do not get it. 1989 sounded like straight anonymous department store pop and again, everyone including critics were so wet for it. NFR has been the most pleasant piece of work i've heard him attached to but even though I enjoy Lanas sweet little melodies and can appreciate her style, I still find a lot of the album boring and thats most likely at least partially some of his creative hand. Washing the girls out as he always does. Like he is just boring to me. Do. Not. Compute. the JA love. Truly.

And to top it off, his own music was even worse!!!!! fun. and bleachers were both corny garbage like. I just.......I cant lol

Even though Joanne is my least favorite Gaga album and it wasn't like beloved by the gaga consuming public, Mark Ronson is such a superior producer imo. Yet he clearly doesn't get as much love because even though Late Night Feelings was better than anything Jacks released imo because it/he doesn't have that pretentious air it doesnt make the critics jerk off to his material.

I love his stuff with Lorde / Lana / Charli but not too keen on his stuff with Taylor which is what I feel his Gaga work would end up being like so I have to say no. Although I wouldn't mind a couple of tracks.

Aside from the one comment, what else did he say?

In some random interview he did he was talking about how cool he thinks brooke candy is and then threw in a dig at gaga saying "she makes gaga look like a f*cking nun". Gagas success really bothered him as a musical person, he just doesn't like her approach or sound. Hes very much one of those guys that come from the alt scene that can't **** with most big industry commercial pop artists but find those select few that they feel are up to snuff to their palette. Gaga is just not one of them for him.

I feel like if Gaga made Joanne with Jack it’d be a better album, weirdly enough. And I already love that record. Imagine a cleaner sound, with his atmospheric touches instead of Bloodpop’s idiosyncratic croaks or Mark’s country funk leanings (lending itself better for dance pop tracks).
