LG6 Will Either Be...

Released extremely soon or much, much later - as in, '2020' later.

Here's why:

If LG6 is releasing between now and October, we will have our first single either this week or next.

There is no other logical timeframe, *unless* Gaga is planning a complete surprise drop without any prior promo. No lead single, no second single, no promo songs... nothing. And I think this is highly unlikely, since we know Gaga is better suited to a traditional release strategy.

So, assuming (I think, accurately) that LG6 will have a conventional roll-out - if we don't have a new single within the next 14 days, the album won't be releasing this year.

Why? What about November - December?

Well, firstly we know that Adele is releasing soon - and her release window is usually between October - December.

And we also know that November / December are unusual timeframes to release singles because of radio freeze.

With Interscope most likely wanting to avoid a clash with Adele (who, based on the above, will release her lead in October, and her album in November) - this leaves LG6 with the only viable window of a September single, and an October album.

And if the album is coming in October, a lead single will have to release very, very soon... almost imminently. And if it doesn't... then LG6 will either be a complete surprise drop (which is highly, highly unlikely) - or will simply miss 2019.

And if it misses 2019, we are in for a *very* long wait.

With the Grammy's on January 27th 2020, we could perhaps expect a single release on the 17th or 24th January at the earliest - and an album release, therefore, somewhere around March time.

So, either LG6 is coming in October, with a lead single within the next two weeks - or it's not coming until February / March 2020.

Spoiler

Of course, this is all just speculation.

But it's all that makes sense.

We know Interscope will avoid an Adele clash, and we know they won't want to release a single in December.

And a surprise drop is highly unlikely, meaning a single must be released... which leaves the only option as 'now' or 2020.

Thank you for this brand new information. As an insider I can confirm that LG6 WILL come out between 2019 and 2069

Sorry - it's not new information, you are right.

But it's at least a more logical breakdown of potential releases than 'she could be coming from now until X'.

I think it's accurate to narrow things down to between either now - October (for both single and album release) or to write-off the year and look to an early 2020 release.

Everything here seems pretty logical. We also never had any confirmation that an album is coming 100% this year. I'm here for a 2020 album release to be completely honest. All Gaga album releases post-Born This Way happened during autumn-winter. Break the cycle :messga:

I just remember how a year ago on Twitter nobody believed me when I said LG6 was coming in 2020. At this point, it’s safe to say, she’ll focus on Haus Labs and Enigma.

THE SONG: APRIL 2020

THE ALBUM: after Enigma 2020

Interscope considers ASIB as new Gaga music, especially with the extras she added on the album like Before I Cry, Hair Body Face etc. 2019's focus is on Haus Labs and Enigma. It's clear they have no interest in an album this year anymore.

Album after hauslabs, enigma, enigma 2.0, haus labs season 2, movie, enigma 3.0, haus labs season 3

I think you're right - a 2020 release is most likely at this point.

There's a window for a 2019 release... but that window is literally now.

And I don't think a single is coming this week or next, since there hasn't been any concrete suggestion of that. And there usually would be, by this point - by radios, by actual insiders (Mr. S) or even by Gaga herself.

Album after Enigma 2020

You do realize she only announced like half of Enigma dates so far? :rip: It will go at least into 2021

Smother Em Eh

This seems so logical and the most likely hands down. If a single is coming it will drop in the next 2 weeks. If not then we won’t get it till the very beginning of next year.

Also the whole Haus Beauty thing also makes it seem like the lead single won’t come out until like 4-5 months from now.

I'm aware, I'm just saying I expect the album to come out 2020 after the Enigma round in May.

I know LG6 is coming in 2020. If Gaga were to surprise drop the album, there would be little chance for promo considering it’s the streaming age and once albums come out the hype is dead.

So to keep the fans interested and to keep momentum for the album going, she’d Have to release all of the singles before the album comes out, and she can’t spread them out too far otherwise people will lose interest. I expect at least a song or two from the album this year so if I were her I would drop the lead single in September, the follow-up in November, the third in January, the fourth in March, and the fifth and final single at the beginning of May, with the album dropping at the end of it. All music videos for their respective singles should be released on the same day, or at the very least the same week. This is really the only good marketing strategy for music that works today.

I hate the streaming era so f*cking much. It’s taken the fun out of everything. :saladga:
