If LG6 and R9 drop on the same day, which would take the crown?

They're both arguably the most successful female artists in the industry that have highly anticipated albums coming up. They love each other. They're both makeup legends. They both have annoying fans asking for a new album in each post they make. They support each other.

But if they were to drop a single/album on the same day, would one overshine the other? Would it be a roar x applause situation? Who would the public go for?

Probably LG6 because of pure sales and TEA. I can imagine R9 having a 50,000+ SEA gap which amounts to roughly 65 million+ stream gap.

If it were a single, Rihanna. If it were an album, probably Gaga.

I think Rih will always have a more dedicated following from the GP than Gaga, so she’ll probably have to more popular album/be more talked about, even if it’s not translated on the charts that way.

LG6 by a mile. Rihanna will do better with the singles. This will not happen tho. You won’t get two HUGE pop stars to release on the same day. It’s not realistic.

Rihanna will probably have a bigger single because she is more of a singles Artist anyway. Gaga will have bigger album sales because she’s an Albums Artist!

Not sure anymore. I have a feeling Rihanna’s next album might cause a frenzy because her status has definitely been elevated since 2016. It’s like she’s entering Beyoncé’s level of “untouchable” during her self titled era. She’s also a streaming darling even though she hasn’t put out new music.
