She never thrives in the UK. 1989 was like a weird exception in her career so far where she actually did amazing in the UK. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. The U.K. charts are different we still prefer to support home grown talent and R&B/dance music more. Plus Taylor is quite local in the grand scale of things

StrawberryBlond 14,924
I feared she'd have huge competition from Lover's second week but even I underestimated how much Taylor would fall with this one. At this rate, Oasis might even overtake her! This is amazing that it's getting closer to LFL's sales so early. I still feel a bit stung that Honeymoon is the only album to break her run of #1 UK albums and that got knocked down by an album that hasn't even been remembered today, so I'm pleased that this is about to become her 4th UK #1 album and a fifth may be upon us next year. For an "indie" artist who doesn't have #1 singles or even big tip 10 hits, she has done amazingly well to get this much success.

LeJudas 6,490
Yes Lana. So happy for her rn. She's doing great. I'm new to the Lana fanbase so I don't have comparison for her other eras. Can someone tell me if this is good? I feel like she's slaying everywhere lately
