Yes, but I love cars, the Rivoli Ballroom and glamour, it’s super visually pleasing to me and it has that 007 feel to it. If I enter a room and this is playing on a TV screen, chances are that I’m going to feel in my element and am going to enjoy my time there, as its repetitiveness serves as a great background visual to set a mood. It just doesn't match up with the WM at all. Seriously why didn't they just re-edit it? @Sneaky Oliver Altough I’m not a big fan of the song, the video is amazing. I love the unusual use of pink/red and green colors and also the mix of retro and futuristic imagery. @Miichael This video is soooo cool and I especially love the night time scenes of the city and the opening with that interesting architecture. Although it seems to work like a fair introduction to the whole videography that comes after it, I don't think it displays visually the deep emotion of the song. @Miichael Absolutely gorgeous video. A great example of how a video does not have to have a huge budget or expensive cameras to portray emotion and beauty. Only thing that seems out of place to me here is first 3 seconds, it doesn’t seem to fit in with the vintage aesthetic of the rest of the video. I love the collection of old footage she has included. @Cerny This video was my introduction to Lana Del Rey, and as simple as it is, it made me feel like I was watching one of my very own, old childhood VHS recordings, with that sense of familiarity and nostalgia, though I was watching some randos.
