Gaga at Eurovision

I was thinking the other day about Gaga performing at Eurovision's interval act and suddenly I thought "what if she actually represented a country"? And then I started to do my research about which songs could be elegible for Eurovision. For those who are not really into Eurovision, your song has to be 3:02 minutes long at much. So these are Gaga songs that could actually compete on Eurovision:

1. Beautiful, Dirty, Rich - 2:52
2. Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) - 2:55
3. Money Honey - 2:50
4. Again Again - 3:02
5. John Wayne - 2:54
6. Perfect Illusion - 3:02
7. Grigio Girls - 3:00
8. Just Another Day - 2:58
9. Look What I Found - 2:55
10. I Don't Know What Love Is - 2:57
11. Why Did You Do That? - 3:02

There are a few songs that could be elegible if they cut the opening or the ending melody like Boys Boys Boys (3:22), Joanne (3:17), Is That Alright? (3:11) and Heal Me (3:17). So the question is, how do you think these songs would do on Eurovision? I feel like Is That Alright? would have a strong shot at winning, Joanne and John Wayne may be top ten material, Heal Me, LWIF and IDKWLI top twenty and the rest are probably staying at the semi-finals.

I know this is kind of random but there's not much to talk about these days :poot:

Eurovision is a huge event, so I bet she wouldn't perform any released before song. She would have to perform something new.

I've always felt like Perfect Illusion sounds like a Eurovision song tbh, I'd be here for it:firega: Does it sound like a winner though? Idk:selena:

It would be interesting to see her perform a 3 minute set at Eurovision because most of her performances so far have had a long introduction to them and took a while to develop

Imo, The Edge of Glory and Applause would make perfect Eurovision submissions. Albeit, need to be cut short, but still those power dance ballads that everyone loves

If they somehow changed to rules that the song could be already released then I would say that Perfect Illusion would do great. Top Eurovision songs are nowadays mostly pop so that's why John Wayne wouldn't do that great even though it definitely is a really good piece.

If Gaga was the contestant then she would probably win no matter what song tbh :huntyga:

There's like 100 reasons why this wouldn't be a good idea but to start off - you can't submit old songs

Hypothetically if all her songs where never released I think the best bet would be the Edge of Glory.

Start it acoustically behind the piano for the first verse and chorus, then erupt into the album version with choreo comparing to her live performances. And then end it quite abruptly with just her voice, no backing, echoing through the venue. 'I'm on the edge with you'

Pure gold that song.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
