So I usually prefer not to pour my heart out to strangers on the internet like this but I feel like I've become comfortable enough here and I don't consider you guys strangers anymore, and also we're all pretty ****ed up in the head anyways sooo :ally: lmao

Anyways, I just transferred to a new school and it's only the first week of classes but I haven't been having the greatest time so far. I haven't made many friends, and the few that I've made ended up being fake and slimy af, so there's that.

I've been on a Gaga binge the past couple of days (more than usual) and I've been watching so many of her old interviews, music videos, and listening to all her old songs and its really been both a nostalgic and therapeutic experience for me.

It's made me realize how much I ****ing love Gaga to my core. Nothing she could ever do to would make me not love her. I love her as a person and as an artist and everything she stands for has always resided with me ever since I was a child. Watching The Fame Monster/Born This Way era interview made me so emotional to the point where I was like heavily crying, specifically her Fuse interview where she was explaining the meaning behind the Edge of Glory.

She has the most creative mind, she is so talented and inspiring and a complete visionary. She is the most versatile artist of my generation and is also arguably the best performer. I fell so in love with her music because each song is like a world that you can get lost in. She sets such a specific mood with her lyrics, vocals, and production that each record takes on a life of its own and sits with you long after its finished. She truly takes her art seriously to the point where it is a direct reflection of the thoughts in her head, which is not something that can be said of many people in the industry.

What also made me so emotional was watching the Oprah interview with her mom and seeing the place she grew up in, and it kind of brought Gaga back down to Earth for me and made me see her more as a person rather than an "icon" or a "superstar". She is always going to be Stefani, the insecure theater girl from New York who suffered from years of bullying and struggled to find her place in the world. We need to remember that she is a human, with emotions, priorities, insecurities, and things she has to deal with behind closed doors that we will never know about. We cannot expect so much from her. Even though we, the fans, catapulted her to stardom, she owes us nothing at the end of the day. She could quit music at any point, and we would just simply have to respect that because she has already changed the pop culture landscape so much and is a legend in every form.

I feel like I know her so well even though I don't know her at all, but I see so much of myself in her. I just want to sit with her for a night and get drunk and talk about life, boys, music, the future, the past, and everything else. I wouldn't even bring up LG6 because I know it's coming and we have to respect her artistry. Everything she's ever put out has been QUALITY, so I expect nothing less with the new album.

I wanted to come on here and vent (maybe cause I'm a little drunk) and remind everyone of how incredible Lady Gaga is. Like, just say Lady Gaga out loud and you will feel the power of her name in the room. So sit tight, go stream Born This Way, aka the pop bible, smoke a blunt and sit back and relax and before you know it, you'll be walking home with a copy of LG6 and your skin will be clear and your depression will be cured.

I love you all so much! Paws up for life

Judas Society

I used to think that way. But there was a thread that asked what would make us stop stanning Gaga. I actually could come out with a reason and that is if she becomes a bigot or supports something that is largely against human rights. Then again, if she really does become that way, then that's not Gaga anymore. So why would I love the artist that isn't Gaga?

Pop Music

same. I can never understand how you can be invested in an artist and because they don't put out some music when you want them to you can simply "unstan" them. Gaga has helped me through almost everything hard in my life and I can never see a point in the future when she won't be a huge and important part of my life and has been for 6 years

Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever!

Thanks for posting this. Thought I’d share the above vid for anyone who hasn’t seen, since you mentioned BTW. Smoke a bit and then watch, her reactions are the best!
