Not necessarily which is the greatest but of these acclaimed, mainstream late 1990s early/2000s pop albums...

Which is the Most Varied Album: Impossible Princess, Velvet Rope, Ray of Light, Body Language or In The Zone

Out of those options, In The Zone. A lot of those options are pretty homogenous albums, especially Ray of Light and the Kylie albums. If I could pick the most varied pop album, ARTPOP is definitely a contender

Impossible Princess has pop, alternative, rock, trance, jazz. It's not my favorite but there is a lot of variety in the songs while the other albums are more cohesive.

These are good points, but something like Velvet Rope also has R&B jazz and folk music so it was worth mentioning.

Honestly shocked that Ray Of Light is winning. I love that album, but it was meant to be a one-flavor album. The only standout is the titular track, which doesn’t really feel out-of-place either. I’m questioning if people read the question or just voted for their favorite album...

I picked In The Zone because it has: hip-hop (“Me Against The Music,” “(I Got That) Boom Boom,” “Outrageous”) R&B (“Breathe On Me,” “Touch Of My Hand”) power ballads (“Everytime,” “Shadow”), electronic-dance (“Toxic,” “Brave New Girl”) reggae (“The Hook Up,” “Early Mornin’”), and experimental pop (“Showdown,” “The Answer,” “Don’t Hang Up”). It’s Britney’s record with the most variety, with Circus coming a close second.

Judas Society

I love all of these albums so much. They really don't make it like these anymore.

Okay I love Ray of Light to death but its not varied lol its in its sonic lane and it owns it. As was Impossible Princess, which i've personally never got into.

Body Language, Velvet Rope, and In the Zone are varied. And of the 3, I think Velvet Rope is the best.
