"Pose for your life" - Gaga 2017

Remember those awesome curly-haired metallic editorial looks Gaga posted on Instagram in December 2017? 

I was looking at some of those photos and I noticed that this one's caption reminds me a lot of the Haus Beauty promo.

Is "Pose for your Life" an early version of "Battle for your Life" or is that just something they say on Drag Race?

So.... do you think these looks might have been related to HL in some way? Do you think she might be wearing early prototypes of the Glam Attacks? Do you think there's a chance HL will release a glittery hair product next?

I think the start of the editorials was her testing out the new products. She's 100% wearing Dynasty in this one, and if you notice, all the other looks have that same smudged out technique they keep demonstrating on the Glam Attacks.

I'm not really in touch with the beauty and fashion mind set … but it does seem to be competitive to the point of battling for supremacy in the context of getting attention … from wanted parties that is.

Yas, I am glad I'm not the only one who thinks that! 

This is pretty interesting, I'm going to look through her 2017/2018 IG later today and add any images that I think look like she's wearing HL products to the OP

The Haus Labs connection makes sense … nice catch

Low-key kind of wanted Haus Editorials to develop into an indie publishing platform … something like Rankin’s Hunger or Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine … but, y’know, one step at a time, battle for your writes

That's pretty interesting 

Although I'll never get Gaga's team marketing strategy.

They release this WONDERFUL pics our of the blue, for like a couple of months, and than they stop. I get Gaga cancelled the tour, I get her fybromialgia, but I also recall they've stopped posting prior to the cancellention etc. And I get Gaga wanted a "detox" period, when she recoverd from the fybro, but they never came back posting them. 

I mean, if they really were for the Haus Labs tests, why not giving some hints? Why letting people forget the slayage and just move on without anything else to add?

And that's the same as the Eli pics... we literally were never told what they were about if they were about anything. 

They loose these perfect opportuinities and I truly don't get it...

I still have hope she'll do something like that! She's written a couple editorials and did that one V Magazine "Fashion Vanguard" where she put together and edited the whole thing like a haute zine.

I have had a theory that the insta shoots were a preview of a larger project AKA LG6 and they will reappear with new music in video form and we all will go, "Ohhhhhhh!".

JMO but I kind of feel like she just posts random pics—maybe outtakes, maybe just for fun—in an attempt to connect or give the fans something on social media. I always thought the Eli pics might have been some sort of test photos or a scrapped concept to do with Enigma.

TLDR: I don't think she's teasing.

Somewhere deep down, I definitely feel like she’s got that print media mogul genome in her creative DNA … publishing is a medium that is so native to her narrative, but in comparison to other creative industries (tv, film, music) it isn’t as time-sensitive or so heavily predicated on making the first move and mark in your youth … if anything it’s probably more ideal to wait until you’ve got a breadth of experience and  a network of creative comrades to establish that signature tone / lens for your publication … so she’s got time, and she’s building quite the repertoire arsenal … but all of that is to say: I concur!
