The fact that they didn't even include this iconic performance in the top 10.... is justĀ Ā it was one of the most talked about and most shocking performances at the time. Having 3 performers who were pitted against each other and painted as rivals by the media sing together and even kiss each other on stage was HUGE in 2001 (?). I remember every news channel and every newspaper reporting it even weeks after the performance. That aside, it was also a damn good performance.Ā Ā Also, out of all the madonna performances they choose vogue? I mean, without the controversial Like A Virgin performance during the very first vmas,Ā the show would have never become what it was in the 90s and early 2000s.
