I like Charli, but this is petty of her. And yes, this is absolutely shade—people have been dismissive of Taylor's work in the past by calling it juvenile and she has to know that if she opened for her. If she wasn't throwing shade, she could have said "we have a very different audience base, so it was disconcerting at times."

Then again, Bobby Finger (I follow him on twitter) dislikes Taylor and well...quite b*tchy on twitter. So I wouldn't be surprised if he set out to get something shady from Charli...I kind of hope if Gaga does interviews for LG6 she doesn't do an interview with him.

It's a really good opportunity, but I wouldn't want to be an opening act - knowing no one you're performing for *actually* came to see you, but the other person - so I see why she may not have been the biggest fan

I like Charlie but she really needs to get a grip. Her music is good but not "holy shít I need to buy this album good." It ain't good enough for her to try take on the Butterfly Medusa. 

I say this and I bop to "Gone" daily which is on my playlist. So I am not saying it as a hater.

I don’t think it was her intention, but she sounds super ungrateful in saying this. I understand where she’s coming from, but she phrased it in a way that sounds kind of insulting to the opportunity afforded to her by Taylor (meaning the exposure from opening a massive tour).

...I went to the concert...I was excited for, and enjoyed her performance...I’m not a 5 year old ...
