Didymus 34,380 Posted August 5, 2019 Share Posted August 5, 2019 Two mass shootings occurred last night in Chicago, in the West Side's Lawndale neighborhood. The first shooting occurred at a block party where three cars came to a stop and gunmen started firing all around. The other shooting occurred near a playground, again with a car pulling up and a gunman firing bystanders. On top of these shootings, police are also investigating "non-mass shooting" shooting incidents that mostly occurred in people's apartments. In total, Chicago Police forces have to investigate 23 shooting cases from this weekend alone. A total of five people are confirmed dead and at least 42 people wounded. There's so many shootings happening all the time, it's not just these exceptional cases that we've heard from El Paso and Ohio.
