Starring Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Elisabeth Shue and Simon Pegg, the new show is adapted from the comic series of the same name, which was originally written by Garth Ennis and co-created, designed and illustrated by Darick Robertson.

The show describes itself as 'an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good'. It follows a secret CIA squad who go up against a team of morally corrupt superheroes called The Seven, who use their celebrity status to get away with their crimes.

A week before The Boys season one had even debuted, it was renewed for a second season with You're the Worst's Aya Cash joining the show as Stormfront - originally a bigoted male character in the comics, as well as one of the most powerful superheroes in the world.

OMG YES. 

It takes the Super Hero trope and flips it on it's head. It's funny, gritty, and explosive. + Chace Crawford.
