Didn't expect "Doin' Time" to have a spot but I'm glad it did! It's a great cover. Also super happy "Cinnamon Girl" made it :tony: Also, does that say "The Next Best American Record" :gum: She's really delivering

the album art is ok but the tracklist looks INCREDIBLE and from what we've heard from the songs/snippets so far, this is going to be one of her greatest projects!

I love the cover! Love how the sky is painted just like Norman Rockwell painted them.

You must be new to the Lana cult :ladyhaha:

This is the girl that used these pictures as covers:

She loves unusal, intentionally amateur looking styles and textures but she does it with style. Like, everyone can see the pop art doesn't belong to the rest of the picture in this NFR cover. Everyone can see that light green of her outfit breaks up the picture's color scheme and confuses the eye.

But it's because it's intentionally chosen that it's "bad" in a self-aware form. Because what's happening in the background? The picture of the skyline subtly transforms from photorealistic to a modern painting, exposing the fakeness of the sky, which visually contrasts heavily with the figure of Lana and her partner, again creating an "off" feeling to the cover which the brain immediately picks up even though it's not clear why at first.

And then there's her enlarged right hand, again messing up the dimensions of the picture, creating a painterly (because visually manipulated and fundamentally unrealistic) feeling, like she's pulling us into the frame, into a place that seems both real and obviously fake, a place that feels cliché yet unfamiliar. I think it's brilliant tbh.

Omg this is wild! Love it! It's so much more creative, colorful, and silly than her other album covers. Finally something other than a photo of Lana with a car lol.

Do yall think Cinnamon Girl is an updated version of the Cinnamon demo, or a Neil Young cover?

Glad to see a lot of recent leaks/one-offs  made the cut for the album, plus a few unheard ones. I'm hyped af yaaaaas gonna bop to this album for the rest of the summer

Omg. The fact BAR and Doin Time are there and that the Shazam titles were right make me lowkey dissapointed, also the fact that we heard pieces from almost every song.. :selena: But I'm still hyped.

This eyeful-of-f*ckery, intentionally crammed, chaotic album cover reminds me a lot of Bowie's Never Let Me Down cover. The perspective almost seems like it's intentionally jarred/wrong on Bowie and on Lana's hand. I think it adds to the artsiness and makes it interesting.
