MrHappy 1,717
Maybe it's a little early to think about it, but I can't stop thinking about lg6's tour becouse one of my main interests is stage design and lighting. I came across these videos while thinking about the next world tour. I think LG6 is gonna be darkwave, edm or more like haus labs songs. so I think that means that a dark, modern, scary and technological era is waiting for us. I thought these stages and mapings would fit very well with such a concept. Imagine for a second, giant movable screens, realistic and active holograms, a sphere like in the first video, and Gaga dancing in the middle of it all. I'm sure she'll do the best no matter how, but I really want to see something like this things. thoughts?? And what is your dream concept ??

BradleyCooper 2,087
I think I would actually die. It might get a little tiring if the entire show was like that, but at least for some of the high-energy songs.

Miel 15,009
I kind of like these ideas! I'd love a combination of a fully-moving stage that also utilizes high-end tech and laser motion mapping. Like a combination of that sphere (in the first few videos) and the JWT stage. Gaga utilized something like the sphere in the MB1.0 show, although it was lower tech and more projection- and light-based. 3 points in and ready for more
AJRocketMan 2,684
I don’t want Gaga to tour for LG6 at all. Just give us music, videos, and some tv performances and that’s it. I’d rather her create a third Vegas show instead of touring, considering how bad it is for her health. But even that is stretching it. Gaga should take a break from touring for several years because going on tour for an album has become expected and it’s too predictable.

bxr 1,016
Hm … not sure if this tangent is a “dream concept” but it’s tossing ideas into the atmosphere for the sake of the thread, and the next album doesn’t technically exist as a release yet, so any tour concept is a dream within some capacity … anyways, maybe a materialization of the album’s sonic aesthetic (which, effectually, is always the fundamental design blueprint for an album’s tour / live show) with and underlying foundation / overarching facade of evolution, balance, and metamorphosis … which plays off of the heavy tech integration, but in a tangible human visceral way … so like if BTWB’s pure theater focus of everything being a concrete structure (from stage design of minimal screens and digital displays (or, actually maybe no screens, the holographic head notwithstanding)) … a more tech Enigma? (from a stage design standpoint …) which is kind of maybe artRAVE meets MB 2.0 … or not, but anyway, that said Some seamless blend of immersive audio-driven digital (music syncs with lighting / projections) with strong tangible / physical / structural architectural elements kind of shifting through the show in a rhythmic dynamic … so mobility or motion, but not cluttered and forced … but also some signature element from each tour that led up to this one … and immersive interludes, like the interlude films but somehow coming off the screen (it’s probably possible, just dream conceptualizing) thus the evolution motif within the context of a live anthology … maybe like … From the Fame Ball … some physical or digital or basically structural iteration of The Who Shot Candy Warhol interludes (I guess maybe some digital / holographic Metropolis “hub of the city” (digital or maybe physical, like at the SBHTS) where Candy or Gaga is or was or … however that fits in the narrative — which, tbh isn’t really a stretch considering the Enigma storyline … but anyway) Monster Ball 1.0 intro cube, but maybe have smaller cubes (they could be digital / holographic / 4D … or elements of satellite stages) — kind of like the 2010 AMA Speechless / Bad Romance performance where the violinists were in the cubes Monster Ball 2.0 … there‘s a lot happening there … the whole thing was materialized pastiche … maybe the subway, but next level, like some 2.0 version of the subway, rocket number nine line and maybe mobilized or idk … or, pivoting, some larger version of the living dress … maybe the living dress is the tour’s evolution of the robot from enigma where it’s her vessel of vehicle or armor or something … like, battle for your life — but make it: FashUN BTWB … bring back the castle but make it whatever the Haus is for this album … the home base for the show’s aesthetic narrative … whatever that means or ends up being in context of the show / album artRAVE … bring back couture confetti. I’m serious. But stage wise … the lucite bridge was legit … plus, evolving from the original lucite bridge, it could incorporate the tech from the guitar at Coachella where she controls the visualizations or projections on the bridge(s) … maybe with the ring from the intel Bowie tribute where she can motion-control elements of the entire space with the jewelry … but for the bridge(s) … the manicured hand chair was also something maybe — actually could kind of play off of that like the first prydz video does with the hands … then have some (not identical, this is just conceptual, just riffing) evolved version of the gazing ball between the two hands … but idk … I haven’t really though this through JWT … the integrated tech there was really comprehensive … the bridges and satellite stages and oval screens … somehow bringing that all together or having that bring everything else together … maybe that piano blended with the bubble piano from fame ball … something underscoring idk cycles and seasons but that’s in the maybe pile (it’s all the maybe pile) Enigma … haven’t seen that one live so I can’t really say from a first-hand pov … but, it looked like they had some immersive tech happening … but I can’t say from experience so not going to overstep and make assumptions on stage incorporation there But then of course it all is rooted in LG6 and how that extends the existing narrative … something about evolution (which by definition the next album will be, regardless of how it sounds or anything, it is the definitive next step in the anthology so it’s existing in the shadows and on the shoulders of every previous era), or metamorphosis or balance in traverse or something None of that probably made any sense, but just conceptual rambling, and I don’t really remember every element from every show, so there are probably loads better options … and collectively better comprehensive options for the overall design … tbh, this probably lost focus somewhere in the second paragraph but I’m almost positive there’s conceptual design in here somewhere — what was the question again
