Well, I keep forgetting that Britney Jean exists so you may have a point there But still, Teenage Dream was on the whole absolutely negatively received to a degree that Beyoncé or Gaga never had to endure. I mean, yes, TD appeared on year-end lists but of what publications Acess is a tv magazine, The Guardian is not a very respected source for music reviews, MTV just picks it 'cause it was a hit, VH1 was only writing about pop albums and also credited it for the hits it spawned, etc. Of course an album's reception doesn't say anything about how the fans enjoyed it but it definitely didn't deserve an AOTY nomination based on quality.
