Inferno 2,880
Even though Bad Romance is technically superior and I love it and its one of her best songs and one of my favorites. Paparazzi is like, my favorite. Its like bubblegum Depeche Mode for a Britney Spears demo and I live.

skedaddleBItCh 2,809
Bad Romance And what's with people saying that it's basic? It's really different from other songs in its time. The dark atmosphere the song sets, the bass sonic pan and sound, the beat, the odd drums, the explicit and eccentric lyrics... How is it basic? 🇵🇭༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽🇵🇭

Its because this forum is filled with ARTPOP/BTW stans that resent Bad Romance and The Fame+Monster for being her most commercially successful work. Thus Bad Romance is deemed basic to some and they only stan what the gp just doesn't "get". Its American Life-stan teas.

I hate that Wtf they hate The Fame and The Fame Monster!? ┻┻︵ヽ(`Д´)ノ︵┻┻ Being commercially successful doesn't mean it's basic and conventional lol. Sure, The Fame had some basic elements here and there but it is still far from rudimentary. Poker Face is a great example of having some Elements that people deemed "basic" but the sound is very different, dark and atmospheric. Now for people saying The Fame Monster is just a basic pop album... It's not, alright? People call The Fame Monster a masterpiece for a reason, you know? The concept of the album is godly, the overall sound of it is very distinctive. It's really distinguishable from other albums during that time (maybe even until now lol). Bad Romance is unique, same could be said for the other songs on the album. 🇵🇭༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽🇵🇭
REALITY 76,702
Both are great, but I'll give the edge of Paparazzi. I love BR because it's iconic, and while I love the song itself (don't get me wrong), I actually really like the acoustic/piano version of it better. I love both the piano and studio version of Paparazzi. 𝔊𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔟𝔶𝔢, ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔫 𝔪𝔶 𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰
