Britney Spears Musical Once Upon a One More Time postponed

Audiences will have to wait a little longer for the Britney Spears-scored musical Once Upon a One More Time. The tuner's Broadway-aimed world premiere, originally announced to play the James M. Nederlander Theatre in Chicago from November 13 through December 1, 2019, has pushed back its run to April 14 through May 17, 2020; a press release lists "scheduling issues" as the reason for the delay.
 

Britney was due to co-produce this alongside her manager (may now be ex manager). It looks like it is delayed until the things with her conservatorship are settled and once the investigation on her team is complete. A hearing relating to her conservatorship is taking place in September to see if Britney still requires it and if her team/father have been acting appropriately.

It’s clear something dodgy is going on behind the scenes but they’re trying to keep it hushed up. Hope Britney is okay

Tbh, I was really shocked when this was announced. And it's not like a Broadway musical can be made so easily. I understand the reasons of why this probably got pushed back, but it'll be interesting to see how this comes to Broadway knowing how tight the schedule normally is.
