First of all that's BS. All workers get 15 minutes for 4 hrs, a half hour meal break for 8 hrs and two 15 minutes breaks as well. That's just law. I doubt Amazon is breaking the law. If you want to take bathroom breaks between that time it should definitely cut into productivity points or whatever system they have in place. People act like they never held a job before with the fake outrage.

What “fake outrage?” This what the workers allege. Nothing more.

They are also striking for better work benefits and overall safety in the workplace.

On a day workers are calling for a strike. WHY did she have to premier her line during the strike?! Ugh capitalism is gross

remind me what device you are using to type this and where the technology was invented.

well yeah let's just bring unnecessay complaints to these good news

she just took advantage of Prime Day, I'm sure her team isn't even aware of this, and it's not something they can directly help by pulling out their product. Other product will take their place and nothing will be done by the end of the day.

She knows very well lending her name to an exclusive deal with a company that launches the same day as a labor strike shows a lack of support for workers. She pulled out of her agreement to have a Target exclusive Born This Way edition over donations to anti-LGBT organizations. A star of that size has power and they choose who they work with. She could have launched any time with any company, or on her own. She chose a corporate partnership and ignored labor rights. It's worth talking about. Not unnecessary at all.

sorry but if Gaga is profiting off of a day that Amazon workers are fighting for living wages and better work conditions, she needs to be held accountable.

Bish what? Since when was she a CEO at Amazon? You're speaking as if she has her heel personally on these workers' throats. Calm down.

She doesn't need to be an activist about EVERYTHING  I dislike Amazon just as much as the next guy but let's be sensible here.

Eh, I disagree. Watch John Oliver's video on warehouses. He goes in on Amazon and what their employees face.

I work in retail at a managerial level and I can tell you a good pay and bathroom breaks every four hours does not make a good workplace :laughga: but at least I haven't been bear maced by a robot :spin:

She literally said only amazon allowed her complete creative control

Dumbest comment ever, you aren't the brightest are you? We are all forced to participate in capitalism, having a laptop and mobile device is required in this world, like it or not. Gaga debuting her makeup and asking everyone to preorder it via Amazon on a day Amazon workers are asking for solidarity in their strike, is gross. Capitalism is gross because money is more important than people.

As far as my phone and laptop, they are provided by my work and I work for a non profit that provides services to adults with developmental disabilities, so I'm doing what I can as far as your idiotic comment goes.

Gaga did NOT have to use Amazon, and I don't buy the whole "complete creative control" argument for being there. It took complete creative control for that basic packaging? Please. It's all about money here and her whole message doesn't even make sense. "Love yourself! But cover yourself up and change how you look with my makeup line, cause you were born that way, only a bit uglier!"

I also want to point out that Jessica Alba was live on Amazon Prime Day Live yesterday to promote The Honest Company.
