Kinda curious about why your attitude is so passive-agresive? :triggered: We understand the fact that you might like the boring, "mature" side of Gaga, it's totally fine, but the way you talk about her past like she was just another popstar who just dressed different is rather unfair to be honest. All of her songs have a deeper meaning, that's one of the first things I loved about her, how ambiguous her lyrics were, you can literally give them a lokt of meanings and associate them with different situations in your life or her life. Gaga was far more genuine, creative, and overall interesting that she is now. I know you don't care about "promo or if she doesn't interact with her fans anymore", but it's interesting to me as to why someone would prefer the less genuine side of someone.

Perhaps, Gaga, imo, it's not really your kind of artist. I think it's pretty sure to say that LG6 will in someway be the return of the old pop/edm Gaga the great majority of us loved and you'd find yourself troubled with that, cuz as we all know Gaga is always evolving and perhaps this era might be one of her craziests.

My attitude is dismissive because because I recognize that my opinion is at least an opinion, while y'all are painting yours out to be a cold fact.  "Gaga was far more genuine, creative, and overall interesting that she is now." I don't think a discussion is really worth investing in when a differing opinion is immediately put off as not even being an option. This is about what people like, not the laws of physics.

I find Gaga's ways of communicating her art way more interesting nowadays because it is a lot more soft, sub-dued but still effective. It's a lot more selective and elegant and not so on the nose and clumsy, which is reflective of her growth in the music business and knowing what the f*ck she's actually doing.   Whether Gaga is my kind of artist or not is not up for you to decide, you have no idea what kind of person I actually am and which person I'm gonna be when LG6 finally drops in 2030.

I only miss those times probably because I was a lot younger, less responsibilities, more time to relax and I had not been through difficult times yet. When I think of 2009-2012 Gaga it feels nostalgic in a good way but I love her as much as I did then and will always do. If she wants to take a long time on LG6 I am more than willing to wait. And I'm really excited for Haus Labs and I love Enigma too. I think even if she was not doing anything I wouldn't be sad as I have so much music to listen to and I can always watch older videos :vegas:

Honestly... it's not really that deep. Not to mention that I'm actually talking more about TF and TFM more than Born This Way (though BTW does have some meaningless generic duds that I skip nowadays like Heavy Metal Lover).

But you've kinda verbalized exactly what Gaga did: Used big and fluffy words to give simple pop music a bigger and beyond meaning that it doesn't really bear. That was her thing. She was fully aware that she did that, cuz that's exactly what Andy Warhol did with his art.

The thing is just that Gaga realized that it's kinda ungratifying and exhausting to come up with explanations why your song about f*cking is high brow art, when she could just talk about what is actually close to her heart and share her actual feelings.

People like you I swear have the hugest egos and don't realize it, it's so sad

So you want her to do the same thing over and over again and not reinvent herself?

Did anybody ever say they don’t want her to reinvent? Was that ever mentioned? Nobody is saying that at all, the thing is, she’s flipped 180 and in all honesty (yall gonna drag me) she’s become boring and predictable

Not really. Sure i get nostalgic about it now and then, I'm nostalgic about the way i used to look at things or how they would make feel at that age rather than Gaga herself i guess.
