This looks like she is trying to help a friend out, in this case, Sarah... Sarah is unlike a majority of LM (me included) think, is not seen as bad in the make-up world, she is a spokesperson to Marc Jacobs, whom Gaga herself is friends with, uses basically only his products and walked his runway. Her line for what I can see it's gonna be pretty "basic", following the line of a more High-End brand with editorial/runway products, unlike Fenty beauty who has a more general public target with fun colors. It seems like her mindset has changed from 2015-now about being a "money-making machine". If that's true, it's also fine tbh. I know the fans love to drag Sarah, but Sarah's been loyal to Gaga for a long time and we know she's had bad people in her circle in the past. It also sounds like the business people approached her and this wasn't all Troy's idea and Troy's vision like the perfurme. So yeah, I definitely think it is very different even if she isn't super passionate about it (and of course the passion part is pure speculation). Helping a friend plus taking up a smart business offer that was brought to her and also getting to make it her vision....makes sense to me. Also, pop stars seem to get the worse stalkers—look at poor Taylor Swift. I'm pretty sure Gaga rolls with a team, much like Rihanna, Bey, Taylor, etc. That sort of security probably cost at least 750k a year. She's 33 years old and probably realizes that money AND the bling is okay if it's a "bling" project she can put her own stamp on and can help support her team (which includes a lot of people, including security) and help fund future projects. Seeing as Sarah commented on the instagram post how its their baby etc. Sarah did a video with NikkiTutorials on youtube, one of the most popular beauty gurus, in which she said she wasnt in a place to own her own beauty line. So keeping that in mind, when all this haus beauty news started surfacing, it made it obvious this was a way for Gaga to help Sarah out and give her a brand without her having to own it privately and have all the weight on her shoulders that she didnt seem to want. So with that said, I dont see this as Gaga being milked like a cash cow for profit so much as her using her position to help someone she employs that she cares for. dont think its something she wouldve pursued to this degree otherwise honestly. Agreed, there is nothing wrong with her helping a friend, and I really don't give a **** is just for bling, its her hard work earned money. Which is more likely; Gaga being passionate about something she’s been working on for obviously a while and she herself says she is passionate about, or some fans not believing she is passionate because it doesn’t fit their internal narrative of what Gaga is supposed to be? When did Gaga fit a narrative, this is simply my opinion and facts. Gaga said in the past that she doesn't like to sell perfume and things of the sorts, then her make up artist is a spokesperson to marc jacobs beauty, so she did this line to help out her friend to come out with her own. Working on cosmetics for 2 years is not a big deal, cause majority of the time it's the chemistries doing formulas, she just has to approve them, for a single product to be ready it takes 9 months, you triple that and you have as Gaga is releasing 3, it's already more than 2 years. + she looks and sounds uninterested, her reading a PR written letter and doing instagram post doesn't really mean she cares for it AMOR MORTA GAGA Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

You state in your post an image of what you think Gaga is based on your interpretations of her past statements and behaviors, and now you are saying that she must not be passionate about this project because you don't think what she is doing now meets your image of her. However of course, Gaga's own internal feelings about what she is passionate about have no relation to whatever you think she should be passionate about or not passionate about.
